blog? who knows the technical side of blog –explain in simple terms?
nowadays, everyone is talking about “blogs” — I know vaguely that they are a new form to communicate. please dont refer me to look at other links. explain in non technical jargon their use — and how can i contribute as a user of internet? –i.e. i know what e-mail does — it speeds communications etc. what does exactly a “blog” do? who will visit it? do you have to market it? why was it put on the scene to begin with? where can i see interesting blogs (please no buying & selling) I am here to expand my cultural horizon not my “material being!” Hope you get my message, I am looking for a serious mentor to tell me about “blogs” in a simple, comprehensible manner. Thanks.
“blog” is short for “web log” which is basically an online diary.
You can use it to tell the world your thoughts on virtually any subject you want.
You *should* be aware of libel laws as there has been some focus on blogs and libel / lawsuits recently (so caveat emptor).
That’s about it. Yahoo 360 offers blog functionality, blogger.com and a few others.
